Sweet and Sour Prawns with Vegetables

|
Ingredients: 1) Make the batter of Prawns:
2) Prawns medium, cleaned 1/2 kg
3) Corn flour 3 tbsp
4) Eggs, use whites only, beat well 2
5) White flour/ chicken stock cubes mix 1 tbsp
6) Sugar 1 tsp
7) Oil for deep frying
8) Salt to taste
For Sauce:
1) Tomato sauce 1/2 cup
2) Soya sauce 2 tbsp
3) White vinegar 2 tbsp
4) Pineapple juice 2 tbsp
5) Garlic cloves, peeled and chopped 6
6) Black pepper, powdered 1/2 tsp
7) Molasses (gur) 1 tbsp
8) Corn flour 2 tbsp
9) Sesame seed oil few drops
10) Salt to taste
11) Oil 2 tbsp
For vegetables:
1) Capsicums, cut in squares 3
2) Cauliflower, cut into florets 1 medium
3) Onions, cut in quarters 3 medium
4) Soya sauce 1 tsp
5) White vinegar 1 tsp
6) Sugar 1 tsp
7) Salt pinch
9) Oil 1 tbsp

Method: 1-Make batter for prawns:
2-To make the batter for prawns, combine egg whites with corn flour, white flour/ chicken stock cube mix, sugar and salt.
3-Dip each prawn in the batter and deep fry till golden.
4-Remove and drain.
For Sauce:
1-Mix all ingredients for sauce in a pot, cook on low heat stirring with a wooden spoon till it thickens.
2-Finish with Vegetables:
3-Heat oil in a karahi till hot, add vegetables and stir-fry quickly, add vinegar, Soya sauce, white pepper and sugar.
4-Stir, turn off heat. When ready to serve, combine the prawns and vegetables in the sauce, heat and serve hot.
