|
Ingredients:
1) Minced beef 225 g
2) Medium onions finely chopped 3
3) Tomato, finely chopped 1
4) Inch piece ginger, finely sliced 1
5) Long green chillies, chopped 8-10
6) Mint leaves, chopped 1/2 bunch
7) Chilli powder 1/2 - 3/4 tsp
8) Ground garam masala 1/2 tsp
9) Egg, beaten 1
10) Slices, without crust, soaked in 2
11) Water and squeezed dry
12) Whole wheat flour and breadcrumbs mixed
13) Oil
14) Salt to taste

Method:
1. Fry onions in a little oil till transparent.
2. Add ginger, chillies, mint, salt, tomatoes and beef.
3. Fry well until liquid evaporates.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Add red chilli powder and garam masala, and mix well.
6. Add bread and beaten egg and form oblong 3 inches long and ½ inch thick croquettes.
7. Roll in flour and breadcrumb mix and shallow fry till golden brown. |
